English 10 & 12 Provincial Preparation
It is highly recommended that students register for this program in
the Fall of their Grade 10 or 12 year, to enable one of our educational
consultants to assess the current skill base. Based on
the initial assessment, recommendations will be made regarding the
number of sessions required to become proficient.
The student will go through a past provincial exam with a consultant, on a
question by question basis. This program covers literary terminology, text
interpretation, quotation integration, as well as essay structure. All
written sections of the exam have sample responses prepared, so that
students can see the calibre of writing required to receive an "A" on
the written sections of the test.
All
instruction is private. Remedial instruction will be provided to develop any skills
that require strengthening.
