Programs
SAT Preparation
This
program prepares students, bound for US Colleges, for the SAT.
Working with one of our educational consultants, students will go
through a practice exam. Each exam is broken down into three parts:
Critical Reading, Math, and Writing. The consultant will guide students
on how to best
approach the different sections of the exam, as well as how to pace effectively. Continual assistance and feedback will be
provided.

Language Proficiency Index (LPI) Preparation
The
LPI is either a requirement or an accepted part of the application
process at a number of BC universities and colleges. One of our educational consultants will teach the core
skills required for the exam:
- Sentence Structure
- English Usage
- Reading Comprehension
- Essay Response
All
instruction is private, as it is tailored to meet the needs of each
student. Remedial instruction will be provided to develop any skills
that require strengthening.

University Application Assistance
In Person:
Each university sets its own admission requirements, so the process of university
application involves a significant dedication of time and
hard work. We help to simplify this process, by assisting students to
fill-out their application packages. The written sections of the
application usually present the greatest challenge, so we support
students in completing the following documents:
- Personal Statements
- Letters of Intent
- Resumes
- Application Essays
All instruction is private, as it is tailored to meet the needs of each student.
Electronically:
Application
packages can be electronically submitted for a comprehensive writing
assessment, from one of our onsite consultants. Targeted feedback
on structure, style, & grammar will be provided, as well as
constructive comments to help students revise and improve their writing.

Goal Setting & Academic Planning
The
process of goal setting and academic planning requires active
engagement, on the part of the student. The student and educational
consultant will work collaboratively to generate future career
possiblilities.
Grade
9 & 10 Students: Each student, with the assistance of a consultant, will be guided through the process of academic goal setting,
course planning for the senior years, and occupational exploration. These sessions will be ongoing throughout the school year.
Grade 11 & 12 students:
Each student, with the assistance of a consultant, will be guided
through the process of post secondary planning: aptitude testing,
senior course planning, as well as career and university exploration.
These sessions will be ongoing throughout the school year.
